2012 is here at last! Let's start the year with a couple of neat art projects. This coming Saturday, 7 January 2012, between 10 am and 2 pm, yours truly will be teaching at the gallery. The main project is a rainstick. I have taught this in the past, but many people liked the rainstick so much and were curious about how to make one that I decided to teach it again.
But that's not all. There will be a secondary project so that by the end of the workshop, you will also have made a handbuilt bowl the same way I made the three shown in the picture below.
If you haven't registered yet, do so soon because class space is limited. The information and registration form can be found here. Hot beverages will be provided during all workshops, along with some nice munchies. But dress warmly and/or bring a lap blanket. I hope to see you there.
